Serge Shats, PhD, has more than 25 years experience in system software development, storage virtualization and data protection. Previously, Serge joined SanDisk when the company acquired FlashSoft, where Serge was chief technology officer. Serge has more than 25 years’ software design and development experience storage management, virtualization and data protection. Serge was lead architect in Virsto Software that was acquired by VMware. Serge was CTO at Baccel where he was responsible for the company’s technical strategy including continuous data protection, on-disk backup and IO acceleration. Serge worked for seven years at VERITAS, developing enterprise-class SAN appliances, distributed software, fault tolerant systems and data protection solutions in the role of technical lead. Serge also worked at Quantum, designing technologies for hard drive performance acceleration and hard drive behavior simulation. Serge earned his PhD in Computer Science from Institute of Informatics Problems at the Russian Academy of Science, Moscow, Russia.
Tom has more than 20 years of experience in technology sales and product management across both large and startup companies. Starting in 2012, Tom was Director of Software Solution Sales for SanDisk, including the FlashSoft product line, where he closed multiple OEM and Fortune 100 deals. Prior to that, he led business development efforts for software startups in the memory virtualization and mobile web services areas. Tom started his career with Intel, holding various sales and product management positions, including Director of Software Strategic Planning and Director of Marketing for Enterprise Platforms and Services. Tom earned his MBA (MSIA) and BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
An experienced executive with broad international experience, working with both technology start-ups, established technology vendors and as an IT practitioner. Prior to joining JetStream Software Martin was a early member of the executive leadership team at Nebulon where he was responsible for building the solutions architecture and customer support organization, accelerating the global go to market engine, driving new customer acquisition and developing partner and OEM relationships. Previously he has lead the NetApp EMEA Systems Engineering team, founded SolidFire’s International business and as Senior Director Systems Engineering, EMEA & APJ. and as an IT practitioner spent 17 years at the international design consultancy Arup. Holding various leadership roles with international responsibility, including Global Operations Director and Chief Technology Officer.
As an experienced Engineer with over 18 years of experience in system software development, virtualization and data protection, Santhosh has been managing the JetStream Engineering Centre in India for the past 2 years. Prior to joining JetStream, Santhosh was a principal software engineer at Sandisk responsible for the FlashSoft product and previously he has held software engineering roles at both NetApp and HPE in filesystems development groups. Santhosh graduated from RV College on Engineering, Bengaluru, India with an information science engineering degree.
