Responsibilities
  • Development of Linux kernel storage device drivers.
  • Development of software tools for monitoring and managing Linux server and cluster storage systems.
  • Integration of Linux kernel storage device drivers with storage software designed for use in virtual storage appliances.
Experience
  • Background in Linux kernel, device drivers, command line tools, and/or embedded firmware with a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering products on schedule.
  • Experience working in startup environment and with geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
  • 6+ years in Linux kernel driver development.
  • Extensive experience with Linux kernel storage device drivers.
  • Experience with debugging and troubleshooting device drivers.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix open source development and communities for kernel/device driver.
  • Experience developing for deployment multiple Linux distributions, including RHEL/CentOS, SUSE, and Ubuntu.
  • Experience in disk/storage technologies and SATA/ATA/SAS/SCSI storage protocols and PCIe protocol analyzers.
  • Experience with NVMe and NVMeOF storage protocols for storage subsystem access.
  • Excellent testing and debugging skills.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi and virtualization is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test and bug fix cloud management user interface.
  • Implement and maintain applications running in VMWare’s eco system to provide service inside VMWare’s Vsphere Web Client as a plugin.
  • Produce documentation for: technical design specifications, wireframe design, mockup design, business flow design, test cases and test results.
  • Participate in team design sessions, code reviews and internal demostrations.
  • Execute test cases and log defects discovered during testing.
Experience
  • Background in VMware vSphere environment management and virtual storage appliances with a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering products on schedule.
  • Creating and reviewing use cases required to enable high level goals.
  • Designing and drawing wireframe designs based on user workflow.
  • Background designing and developing web application using Java technologies, methods, concepts, and approaches.
  • Working in startup environment with geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
